Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Account Registration

You may create an account using your email address or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

Subscription Plans

• Aprender Pro – Monthly: access to all A1–C2 content, ElevenLabs neural voices, pronunciation scoring, and 15 min/day with Sofia. Billed monthly.
• Aprender Pro – Annual: same as Pro Monthly, billed annually (save ~49%).
• Aprender Max – Monthly: everything in Pro, plus 1 hr/week with Sofia. Billed monthly.
• Aprender Max – Annual: same as Max Monthly, billed annually.

Prices are displayed in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time by going to your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a subscription period.

Free Content

A limited selection of A1 lessons is available without a subscription. All other content requires an active Pro or Max subscription.

Restore Purchases

You can restore previous purchases using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App.

4. Apple EULA

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall govern.

5. License and Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial language learning purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App or its content. All content, trademarks, and intellectual property in the App remain the property of Aprender or its licensors.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Reproduce or redistribute any content from the App without written permission
• Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our services

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee error-free operation or that specific requirements will be met. Our liability for damages is limited to amounts paid in the preceding 12 months.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the App after changes are posted indicates acceptance of revised terms. Material modifications will be communicated via the App or email.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
